I'm dreaming of building a 25-30' wooden sail boat. I wonder if there
are any companies that will share the plans of this range of boats, what
are the fees. I didn't start anything yet (I live in a rented apartment
in Chicago and I envy you guys out there in the middle of the ocean). I
am greatfull for any advise that will help me start this project.

There are a lot of people who SELL plans. Typical pricing on a
25 footer might be $250 or so. There are also plans in books.
Start at the public library. Chicago should have an excellant
collection of old plans in boatbuilding books and magazines.
