We have a nice 36 ft 5th wheel 3 slide that can be backed onto a floating
platform for use as a house boat in California. Does this sound like a feasible
plan and what regulation problems might we encounter? Your comments would be
appreciated.
Answer:
I see it quite often. The barge gets registered as a vessel, what you put on
it is irrellevent. The trailer doesn't need registration until you tow it down
the road. No problems.
