Has anyone out there had any eperiences with either a Godfrey
Marine Parti
Kraft pontoon boat or a Misty Harbor pontooon boat? We are
considering a
20' fishing model. Both have similar features, although the
Parti Craft is
a few grand more. Does anyone have a specific recomendation for
a good brand?
Answer:
Don't know about those specific models, but I had an old pontoon boat for a
few years....great boat...especially with very small children. The pontoon
boat has evolved into something called a deck boat....which is basically the
same deck layout of a pontoon boat but on a planing hull. If you are
unfamiliar with this type of boat....I would definitely check a few out
before purchasing a pontoon boat.
Also avoid Tracker pontoons, new or used......I rebuilt one once and was
amazed at how cheaply it was put together.
