Question:
Pulley that raises the centerboard is frozen solid. I have no specs or
plans that show how to get in to this area for repair, or how to get
parts, etc. Is the manufacturer still in business? If so, how can I
contact them. If not, are any specs or plans, advice etc. available
elsewhere? HELP!!!!
Answer:
Perhaps you can douse it with a penetrating lub: WD-40 or Kroil or the
such every day or so.
I have loosened some very rusty parts this way, but it takes time.
