Question:
Does anybody have any opinions on a FORCE 5 sailboat. I'm a novice and
know nothing about sailing. The one I'm looking to buy is near mint
condition with all the sails and equipment. The owner wants $1350. Is it
worth it? If anybody could give me any help with this it would be
appreciated.

- I got a Force-5 for sale that is pretty beat up, and I'm asking $700. One
in racing shape, with a trailer built for it, and a good sail would easily
be worth $1350.
- i sail a Force 5 and one in $uper condition will be about that much.
as a novice you will have your hands full the first few times on breezy
days. the boat has dual controls for the vang, cunningham, and outhaul -
plus the mainsheet and traveler. its easiet to 'preset' your sail shape
controls and then take off when learning. the boat can be hard to keep down
when super windy but you will be movin' out!
righting this boat is a piece of cake.
