Question:
I want to buy a one person pontoon boat for small lake fishing. I like them
over the float tube types.
What is a good one? Price? Features?
Any pros/cons versus the float tube types?
Answer:
- I have seen a very small one but not a one man
- Interesting idea though...... Maybe a ten footer? Wonder how hard to build
one?
- well i have looked at this thread several times in the last few hours. a
thought finally smacked me on the side of my head. my fishing buddy and i
always stop at the cabelas store that is in east grand forks, mn when we go
there. they have pelican boats outside. they used to have one the last i
remember they had 3 dif models. prices started at 500 no motor or batt for
livewell. the top they had was like 1100. still no motor or batt.
so i decided to check online at www.cabelas.com and i came up with this
pontoon. hopefully the link works. if not i went to the fishing link on the
main page and then looked through there for it.
- Check boattraderonline.com and search for pontoon boats. I don't
remember the manufacturer but you will find a cute boat, seats 2 and can
be powered with a 5-7 horse or trolling motor.
