Question:
Boat prop repair shop in Austin / Killeen area?
I have a 40HP aluminum boat prop that I need straightened
back into it's original shape.
I know that there is a place to do it, but I can't remember
who or where.
Answer:
-Propellers by Nettle's is the only shop I know of in Austin. I hear that
they're well aware of that fact though.
-I had a prop reworked there once. Cost about $50, as I recall, but that
was probably over ten years ago. They did a good job.
-BTW - I took the prop to Nettle's & they did a GREAT job on it!!
It looks & functions like new, and the cost was $50, which was
in line with what I expected.
