Question:
Bass Master Clasic game?
Did anyone buy this game?
How do you like it?
I downloaded the demo but it would crash after the first cast every time i
tried it!
One thing i don't understand is with all the first person shooter games and
the available game engines like Doom, Quake, etc. why is it so difficult for
the game makers to come up with a fishing sim that has true boat movements?
They could even license the old DOOM game engine!
Take Trophy Bass 2 for instance, I can not stand the way the trolling motor
moves the boat around..... why can't they make it like the real thing? The
demo for BM Classic was the same way!
And moving from spot to spot..... picture jumping behind the wheel and driving
the boat just like you do in real life! With a little dash mounted GPS and
Sonar! Screw all this overhead stuff

-In my family , there are kids , me being one of them at 30 yrs old !! So we
have a Sony Playstation . One of the fishing games I rented was the best
that I have seen . Not so much for the boat driving , but once you cast a
lure , the view goes into the deep with the lure in a 3-D environment . And
that was pretty cool . Only thing was , I got the bass to hit , but without
the dang instructions , I didn't know how to set the hook !! So I took the
game out and it sat there until it was time to go back . Since then , when I
make it to a place that sells the games , there are never any there . I
believe it is Big Bass World Campionship with Hank Parker . Either the game
is popular or not many places carry it . As far as "computer" fishing goes ,
it was the best that I have seen . I bought Trophy Bass "1" at Kmart for
9.99 and that is all it is worth too. I didn't see the need to pay alot more
for sequel .
- Is that the one where you cast for trout in a beautiful looking
little stream, with the log book & room with the fish tanks? I tried
that one last week & got bored after an hour or so. Never did make it
to the level where you catch the bass...
